The cohabitation atlas is a design guide for biodiverse architecture. It collects knowledge about pioneer projects that promote urban biodiversity. The iIllustrated habitats highlight the relationship between non-human city dwellers and their urban context, making it visible to architects, urban planners and city makers. This enables them to apply nature-inclusive design in their daily practice.
The book content is structured in four chapters that represent species groups. Each dweller is studied in relation to a specific pioneer architecture project.
